Dwarf Gourami
Trichogaster lalius
The Dwarf Gourami is a stunning labyrinth fish with brilliant stripes of iridescent blue and fiery red-orange. Males are the more colorful sex and make a gorgeous centerpiece fish for smaller community aquariums. They are generally peaceful but can be territorial toward other gouramis, so it is best to keep only one male per tank.

Accessories
Seachem Prime Water Conditioner
Critical for maintaining the pristine water Dwarf Gouramis need. Prime removes chlorine and chloramine on every water change and temporarily detoxifies ammonia, reducing the stress that can trigger Dwarf Gourami Disease in susceptible fish.
Filters
Fluval AquaClear 30 Power Filter
A quiet HOB filter rated for 10-30 gallon tanks, ideal for a Dwarf Gourami setup. Adjustable flow prevents the strong current that stresses this labyrinth fish. The multi-stage filtration keeps water crystal clear.
Food
Fluval Bug Bites Tropical Formula
Protein-rich insect-based granules that Dwarf Gouramis eagerly accept as a staple food. The balanced formula with Black Soldier Fly larvae supports the development of brilliant iridescent blue and red-orange coloration.
Hikari Tropical Micro Pellets
Semi-floating micro pellets well-suited for Dwarf Gouramis, which prefer to take food near the surface and let it drift down. The vitamin-enriched formula supports immune health — important as Dwarf Gouramis can be prone to bacterial infections.
